Chasing Money

 

 

Using her pink fluffy phone, Charlotte rambled constantly. Her mouth was like numbers, NEVER ENDING! Whilst in the park, she unfortunately met David, the class geek, who was like usual carrying out an experiment ; even though he was banned, his last  test resulted in half the grass getting burned.Anyway,today was very special because as David was setting up the equipment he saw a smartly designed suitcase unattended lying on the floor. Curious, he opened it.His eyes lit up! Beads of sweat ravaged down his neck! Then his mouth went dry.                                                                                                                                         “CHARLOTTE!”                                                                                                                                                                             Covering her phone, she replied                                                                                                                                “What do you want Dorky David!”                                                                                                               Pointing at the suitcase, he stuttered                                                                                                                            “There’s money…MONEY! 500 grand!”                                                                                                                    Her mouth dropped and her eyes twitched                                                                                                                      “Did you say 500 grand 500 GRAND! Im rich, rich I tell you”                                                                                    “Your rich but I found the money, plus we have the return to the police”                                             spoke David like a girl scout.                                                                                                                                      “SHUT UP AND BE A MAN! Freak” yelled Charlotte.                                                                                                 Being red, her eyes stopped David dead as she snatched the case away.
