Most children want a mobile phone and it is estimated that over 70% of children aged
ReplyDeletebetween 10 and 14 now own one. The question of whether students should be allowed to
bring them to school has created considerable debate within the school community between
staff, teachers and parents.
Students argue that having mobile phones in school let parents contact them in an emergency and vice versa. In addition to this, some phones have a tracker which lets the childs parents know where they are at all times.
On the other hand, students often forget to turn off their phones in class, and ringing noises or text-message alerts disrupt learning. Furthermore, phones can be used as cheating devices during exams.
To sum up,mobile phones should be allowed in case of emergencys and shouldnt be allowed because they can be used as cheating devices. What do you think?...
